The storm came so suddenly. We just weren’t prepared. I have a newborn and a 6 year old. We were saved from danger, but now we have nowhere to go. We didn’t even have flood insurance. I’m a single dad with two girls and no home for them. I don’t even have a vehicle to go buy them food. I don’t know what I’m going to do right now much less in the next few months. My daughter is supposed to start school in a few weeks. I will eventually need to go back to work. How can I even think about these things? There’s just so much to do.
